LIBCOR Appoints Members to the Committee on Arbitration

[Kigali, Rwanda – April 6, 2025] - National Administrative Council (NAC) of the Liberian Community in Rwanda (LIBCOR) is pleased to officially announce the appointment of members to the Committee on Arbitration pending confirmation from the National Executive Committee. These appointments are made in line with Article 29.2 of the LIBCOR Statute, with the goal of strengthening the mechanisms for peaceful conflict resolution and promoting internal justice and fairness within the community.
The Arbitration Committee will serve as an independent body responsible for:
• Resolving disputes fairly and impartially between community members and chapters;
• Promoting harmony and enforcing adherence to community rules and values;
• Facilitating mediation, dialogue, and other peaceful dispute resolution methods;
• Offering guidance on legal and ethical matters that arise within the community;
• Submitting quarterly reports to the National Executive Committee and NAC on conflict resolution outcomes.
The appointed members of the Arbitration Committee are as follows:
1. Tyfred Budu Teh - Chairperson/Chief Arbitrator
2. Ms. Beatrix T. Frank – Vice Chairperson / Deputy Chief Arbitrator
3. Mr. Christopher Stone - Secretary/Associate Arbitrator
4. Ms. Celestine Olive Boyd - Member/Associate Arbitrator
5. Mr. Allison Graham Gonmiah - Member/Associate Arbitrator
All appointees are required to be fully registered and due paying members of the community. In keeping with internal policies, each appointee is requested to submit a Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the Office of the Secretary General by Monday, April 7, 2025, as part of the confirmation process to be conducted by the National Executive Committee.
